Do you have an eco-friendly person in your life?  That person who always tries to make the green choice?  Not sure what to get him or her?

As an eco-friendly person, myself, I know how hard it can be for people to shop for me.  Most of the time I tell people to just get me gift cards, but sometimes people want to actually give me a gift.

So, here are some items and companies I love!

1) Corature Women’s Cork Clutch

If you are not aware of cork, you need to be!  Just read this excerpt from Corature’s website about cork:

“Cork is lightweight, durable, very attractive, and best of all..it grows back! That’s right. Cork, once extracted from the tree, regenerates itself. It’s the only wood in the world that can make such a claim.

It doesn’t just grow back either. No, no no. Cork oaks take in 300-500% more CO2 when stripped than their unstripped counterparts. The more cork that is used the better it is for everybody.”  – corature.com

Corature produces beautiful, long lasting products!  I bought this clutch for myself a couple of years ago, and it is still in great shape!

Not only am I a fan of their products, but I’m a bigger fan of Corature as a company.  Corature gives back by donating a portion of their sales to The Rainforest Alliance.

They offer more than just a cork clutch.  Check out some of the other beautiful cork products they offer:

4) Cougar Backpack from GUNAS New York

Cougar Backpack

The first 100% vegan handbag brand in the US, GUNAS makes beautiful bags!  I received their Cougar Backpack for Christmas, and I love it!

The Cougar Backpack comes in five different colors.  It fits my MacBook Air and a few notebooks perfectly.  It’s a sleek professional backpack, perfect for the working woman.

This company is a recent discovery for me, and I am BEYOND excited about it!

Also, GUNAS commits to sustainably and ethically producing their products.

“SUSTAINABILITY

GUNAS bags are 100% free of animal by-product. That means no silk, no fur, no wool, no down feathers, no leather! We use a variety of fabrics including coated canvases, nylons, eco-polyurethane, ultra-leather, ultra-suede and up-cycled polyester for linings.

We do not use any PVC. Whenever possible, we also incorporate up-cycled upholstery fabrics and vintage materials into our collection. We are continuously trying to improve our material quality and experimenting by incorporating new materials such as cork, rubber and pinatex into our designs. All hardware is lead and nickel free.

Simply gorgeous.

5) Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil

Skinny & Co

My husband actually found this company, and surprised me with a Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil gift box for Christmas last year.  I use coconut oil on a daily basis.  I use it to take off my makeup every night, to moisturize my face every morning, and for oil pulling.  This became my go to oil.

Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil makes great coconut oil products with essential oils for all uses.  I’m almost positive their lip balm was the first one I actually finished instead of just losing it.

Luke, the founder of Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil, discovered a way to create coconut oil without the use of heat, chemicals, or solvents while he was working with locals in Vietnam.  Once home in the United States, he shared his coconut oil produced with the methods he learned in Vietnam with friends and family, and they loved it.

Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil is the only coconut oil that can truthfully claim it is wild harvested, hand pressed, small batched, never heated, 100% raw, 100% virgin, and 100% free from chemicals and solvents.

Bonus, you receive 15% off your first order!

This wine glass is made in Mexico from recycled glass and is dishwasher safe.

8) Recycled Grow Bottle

This recycled grow bottle from Eartheasy.com is hand-crafted from a recycled wine bottle.  These glass bottles allow you to grow fresh herbs indoors year round!

Plus, they are reusable.  Once you’ve finished growing one herb, just rinse the bottle and clay pebbles and plant another!

Perfect, for the eco-friendly person who enjoys cooking.

9) Panda Sunglasses

Robinson - Natural

Panda creates stylish sunglasses made from bamboo, one of the most renewable sources on our planet, for both men and women.

Panda’s goal is to provide aesthetically pleasing products made from ecologically sustainable resources to globally-conscious consumers.

“Panda Promise

We promise that every Panda product will be constructed from sustainable materials that are kind to the environment, and we will never sell something without giving back to the community.”

10) Panda Watch

the Connoisseur - Large / Bamboo

To finish the list, I have to add one more cork item! Panda created quite possibly one of the most sustainable products ever, a watch made from both bamboo and cork!

Panda is easily one of my favorite new companies.  They began on Kickstarter in 2012, and have created enviormentally conscious products that you actually want to wear.

I hope you enjoyed this list!  As an eco-friendly person myself, I love all these items!

Also, remember…

“Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want.”
